ICE came to speak with only Jeffersonking. Sulayman is waiting to speak with ICE to get answers towards their demand. ![]()

On July 14th, La Resistencia volunteers observing the deportation flights at King County Airport informed us that there was two deportation flights this afternoon.![]()

At 3:15 PM 36 people came off the plane to be detained at Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma. And nobody boarded the plane to be transferred or deported.![]()

Jeffersonking Anyanwu and Sulayman Sarr go into day four of their hunger strike. Both are doing unwell. Jeffersonking and Sulayman were separated because GEO told them they will be sent to medical isolation soon. La Resistencia is concerned because once a person is moved to medical isolation the person is restricted from contacting anyone from the outside. ![]()

Jeffersonking and Sulayman are striking to protest an incident that happened on Tuesday, July 7th at 12:50pm. They were stopped, along with 4 other colleagues, by a GEO officer in front of the law library. The officer searched them with a metal detector, and they were touched inappropriately. They feel humiliated and are left with many questions unanswered.![]()

Jeffersonking, Sulayman, and their colleagues were searched because of the color of their skin. They do not understand why they were sent to segregation or why they continue to face retaliation, targeting, and violations by GEO.![]()
