SUMMARY:Camp Moxy Jo Fundraiser Event
DESCRIPTION:Camp Moxy Jo will be holding a fundraiser to support La Resistencia & International Migrants Alliance (IMA-WA) This fundraiser provides a valuable opportunity for everyone in the community to deepen their understanding of the important work carried out. \nLa Resistencia\, a Washington organization campaigning to end deportations and abuses of immigrant rights.  For over ten years\, people detained in NWIPC have bravely protested their treatment by ICE. Their protests have been joined by people outside\, who have engaged in hunger strikes and set up encampments in solidarity. As the Trump Administration escalates its attacks on immigrant communities\, La Resistencia is calling on our communities to show up in solidarity with people detained in the NWIPC on a Solidarity Day. Through music\, dance\, and collective chanting\, we will make noise to let those imprisoned in NWIPC know they are not alone. \nInternational Migrants Alliance (IMA) is the first-ever global alliance of grassroots migrants\, refugees and displaced peoples. In addition\, we will also be fundraising!
